TRAFFIC ADVISORY - Street Closures Announced at Bergen Street from 14th Avenue to Avon Avenue for Road Construction Project 
Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose announces street closures due road construction at Bergen Street, from 14th Avenue to Avon Avenue, beginning Friday, October 18 to Friday, October 25, 2019.
The street closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each weekday, with No Parking signs posted.
Due to the traffic delays resulting from this project, we encourage those traveling in the area to allow extra time and to plan alternate routes.
Director Ambrose urges anyone with information about criminal or suspicious activities to call the Department's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
