Due to a 5k run/walk on Saturday, October 19, the following route in Downtown Beaufort will be closed to vehicular traffic between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.:

Bay Street from Newcastle Street to Carteret Street
Carteret Street/Sea Island Pkwy, including the Woods Memorial Bridge from Bay Street to Meridian Rd
Meridian Rd from Sea Island Parkway to Youmans Drive

The McTeer Bridge (Lady's Island Drive) should be used as a detour route to get to and from Lady's Island.
