Gun Shots Fired in a Residence 
On Tuesday October 14, 2019 at 1:05pm Absecon patrol units were dispatched to an address on Marin Drive for a report of gunshots in a residence. Upon arrival it was learned that no one was injured by the gunfire. The victim reported that the accused subject(s) fled the residence running East along West California Ave.
Pleasantville Police along with Absecon units checked the area for the accused and set up a perimeter. A K9 unit from the Linwood Police Department responded and assisted with a K9 track but no accused was located. Due to the close proximity Holy Spirit High School and Giggles & Scribbles Daycare were placed on a short lockdown.
