Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Special Victims Bureau are investigating an alleged physical abuse incident that reportedly occurred October 10, 2019 at approximately 9:00 a.m., in a Lynwood High School classroom. The alleged incident involved a 53 year-old male teacher and a 15 year-old male student.
The teacher has been placed on administrative leave by the school district from the inception of this investigation.
The case is still in the preliminary stages of the investigation. The Sheriff’s Department is in possession of a video of the incident, but we are requesting any additional video footage be provided to Special Victims Bureau.
