INCIDENT: ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON

LOCATION: 9100 Block of Lindero Rd., Victorville (County Area)

SUSPECT: Ryan Sanchez, 33 years-old, of Victorville

VICTIM: Male adult, 62 years-old, of Victorville


SUMMARY:

On Sunday, October 13, 2019, at 1:35 am, deputies from the Victor Valley Station received a 911 call from a residence in the 9100 block of Lindero Road, in Victorville.

The suspect, Ryan Sanchez, was invited to a party at his neighbor’s house. While at the party, Sanchez was drinking alcohol and became intoxicated and belligerent. Sanchez was arguing with people at the party and challenging them to a fight. When he was asked to leave, he pulled out a switchblade knife and cut one of the men at the party multiple times. The victim sustained multiple lacerations and was transported to a local hospital for his injuries.

Ryan Sanchez was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and booked at High Desert Detention Center where he was later released on bail. He is due to appear in court on December 2, 2019.
