Central Marin Police Authority Receives CA Office of Traffic Safety Grant 
The Central Marin Police Authority has been awarded a $45,000.00 grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) for a year-long program of special enforcement and public awareness efforts to prevent traffic related deaths and injuries. The Central Marin Police Authority will use the funding as part of the agency’s ongoing commitment to keep our roadways safe and to improve the quality of life through both enforcement and education.
Activities that the grant will fund include:
•Educational Presentations
•DUI Saturation Patrols
•Distracted Driving Enforcement
•Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety
•Motorcycle Safety
•Seatbelt Enforcement
•Specialized DUI and drugged driving identification and investigation training
Funding for this program is from the California Office of Traffic Safety through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
