Two 15 year old male juveniles were arrested for attempted commercial burglary

LOCATION: 34000 block of Yucaipa Blvd, Yucaipa
SUSPECTS: Two 15 year old male juveniles, residents of Yucaipa
VICTIM: Party Pantry
SUMMARY: On October 14, 2019, during the early morning hours, deputies heard an alarm sounding as they patrolled in the Uptown Yucaipa area. The deputies determined the alarm originated at the "Party Pantry" liquor store. They arrived on scene before the alarm and notified Sheriff's dispatch of the alarm. The deputies noticed the bottom of the glass front door was smashed, but no entry was made. Video review revealed two suspects, wearing dark clothing, smashed the door with a brick and disabled the security camera on the eave.
Deputies located the suspects on Yucaipa Blvd and 5th Street approximately an hour and a half after the crime was committed. The subjects were dressed in the same clothing as seen on the video footage.
The two suspects are residents of an area group home; both were arrested for PC 664/459 Attempted Burglary.
