The Pocatello Police Department continues to investigate an incident involving a juvenile who was in possession of a firearm on school property.

“We thank the students who contacted school officials about the threat,” states Chief Roger Schei. “The Police Department takes all complaints of threats to the community very seriously and we acted immediately to investigate and ensure the safety of the students.”

The incident is still under investigation and there may be further charges in this case.
