Investigation (Fatal Motor Vehicle Accident) – 500 Block of South Walnut Street 
Wilmington Police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian that took place Sunday evening.
On October 13 at approximately 7:15 p.m., police were dispatched to the 500 block of South Walnut Street in reference to a motor vehicle accident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
Officers located the pedestrian, a 26-year-old man, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The vehicle remained on scene.
This incident remains under investigation by the WPD Traffic Unit.
