...MINOR COASTAL FLOODING WILL CONTINUE THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING... .Higher than normal astronomical tides combined with southeast winds will result in minor coastal flooding along Gulf facing beaches south of Port Aransas around the times of high tide. Tide levels are expected to reach or exceed 2 feet MSL during high tide which may cause 1 foot of inundation. Minor coastal flooding will likely persist through mid-week.
* COASTAL FLOODING...Minor coastal flooding during times of high tide.
* TIMING...Coastal flooding during times of high tide today and tonight. High time at Bob Hall Pier is at 503 PM this afternoon and 307 AM Tuesday morning.
* IMPACTS...Poor driving conditions are expected as water reaches the dunes. Some beach access roads may become impassable.
* AFFECTED AREAS: NUECES ISLANDS ... KLEBERG ISLANDS
