While conducting the investigation into the stabbing in the 500 block of South 8th Avenue, the Pocatello Police Department received several tips as to the whereabouts of Steven Skylar Drain. These tips led officers to a residence in the 1500 block of Zener Street. After a brief standoff, Drain was taken into custody by officers at 3:45 a.m.

The Pocatello Police Department thanks citizens for their understanding and assistance in helping apprehend Drain. There is no further danger to the public. The investigation is ongoing.
