Coastal Flood Advisory until 07:00PM Sunday
...MINOR COASTAL FLOODING THIS MORNING THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON... .Higher than normal astronomical tides combined with persistent northerly winds will result in minor coastal flooding along Gulf facing beaches south of Port Aransas. Tide levels are expected to reach or exceed 2 feet MSL during high tide which may cause 1 foot of inundation. The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a Coastal Flood Advisory, which is in effect until 7 PM CDT Sunday.
* COASTAL FLOODING...Minor coastal flooding during times of high tide.
* TIMING...Coastal flooding during times of high tide this weekend. High time at Bob Hall Pier is at 255 AM and 311 PM on Saturday and 302 AM and 408 PM on Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Poor driving conditions are expected as water reaches the dunes. Some beach access roads may become impassable.
* AFFECTED AREAS: NUECES ISLANDS ... KLEBERG ISLANDS
