The Davis Police Department is asking the public for help in locating ERIC PAUL RODRIGUEZ (DOB 2/8/1984). Rodriguez is wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in Davis in October 5, 2019. Police believe the victim in this case was robbed at gunpoint while walking on Sycamore Ln at Villanova Dr and that Rodriguez fled the scene in a silver colored coupe with another person inside. A vehicle matching that description was stopped nearby and the driver, Rodriguez, fled before he could be arrested. The gun used in the robbery was recovered along with the vehicle that was abandoned a few blocks away. It is not known whether Rodriguez has additional weapons. His whereabouts are currently unknown, but he does have connections to West Sacramento and Woodland. Anyone with information regarding Rodriguez is urged to the contact the Davis Police Department at (530) 747-5400 or call 911 if he is seen. A felony arrest warrant has been issued for robbery and weapons charges. He has additional warrants for his arrest as well.
