Due to the current weather system in place and careful deliberation with the Island Chiefs of Police, the 18 Mile Run will be cancelled. 
Due to the flooding caused by the weather system, which has been upgraded to a Tropical Storm, and the flooding hazard to the 18 Mile Run route it will cause. The Island Chiefs of Police, OEM partners and Race Organizers have decided, for safey purposes, to cancell the 18 Mile Run that is scheduled for Sunday Oct 13.
