On October 11, 2019, at 8:53 a.m. Sgt. Bruce L. Vanoven conducted a traffic stop on a Gray 2000 Chevy Delivery van at the intersection of First Avenue and Broadway in Princeton. Upon approaching the vehicle Sgt. Vanoven identified the driver as 31-year-old Johnny Malott of Indianapolis. Upon running Mr. Malott through the Indiana Data And Communications System Sgt. Vanoven discovered that Mr. Malott’s Chauffer’s license status was listed as suspended on a prior driving while suspended conviction. At that point Mr. Malott was placed into custody and transported to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the Gibson County Jail Mr. Malott was charged with Driving While Suspended/Prior. He has since posted a $650 bond.
