Motorcycle vs Deer Crash 
Sheriff Richard J. Behnke reports his office investigated a motorcycle crash on Monette St near Brick Church Rd in Jefferson Township, Cass County, Michigan. The crash occurred on 10-10-2019 at approximately 05:58 hrs.
Emergency personnel arrived on scene and found that Frank Kagel III, 51 yrs of Edwardsburg had struck two deer. Kagel was transported from the scene to Elkhart General Hospital for his injuries. Kagel was not wearing a helmet and alcohol/drugs were not a factor in the crash.
Edwardsburg Fire Dept. and LifeCare Ambulance assisted at the scene.
