Due to wind related issues, various intersections have intermittently lost power throughout the morning. Should you encounter an intersection without powered lights, you must treat that intersection as a "Four-way stop". California Vehicle Code 21800(d)(1) requires drivers to stop when approaching intersections where the traffic signals are not working.

Please exercise caution when driving through all intersections, as your safety and the safety of others is our Department's main concern.
