Due to a recent trend of bicycle thefts in the city of Sheboygan, residents are encouraged to keep their bicycles locked or in a garage. 
The city has seen a rise of the theft of bicycles recently. This is what is known as a crime of opportunity. Therefore, please take extra precautions to use a bike lock, or better yet, store your bikes in a gargage or shed and secure the shed with a lock.
