As we prepare for this PG&E Public Safety Shutoff, the San Leandro Police Department would like to take this opportunity to urge our community to sign up for emergency alerts. These alert systems can keep you up to date with relevant information that may impact our community, such as; severe weather, criminal activities, traffic related issues, missing persons, and other local events. Please take a minute to get familiar with and sign up for these important emergency alert services.

ACAlert - Sends alerts via phone, text and e-mail regarding emergencies (earthquakes, fires, severe weather, unexpected road closures, missing people and evacuations) and other important community information. This service is provided in partnership between Alameda County agencies and 14 cities (Alameda, Albany, Berkeley, Dublin, Emeryville, Fremont, Hayward, Livermore, Newark, Oakland, Piedmont, Pleasanton, San Leandro and Union City).
