...MINOR COASTAL FLOODING TONIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING... .Higher than normal astronomical tides and persistent northeast winds will prolong the threat of minor coastal flooding tonight from the barrier islands of Baffin Bay to Port O'Connor and along bay shores from Baffin Bay to Matagorda Bay. Tide levels are forecast to reach or exceed 2 feet MSL during high tide which may cause 1 foot of inundation. Minor coastal flooding may continue through mid week. The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a Coastal Flood Advisory, which is in effect from midnight tonight to 10 AM CDT Wednesday.

* COASTAL FLOODING...Minor coastal flooding in low areas near times of high tide.

* TIMING...Coastal flooding during high tide tonight. High tide at Bob Hall Pier is at 232 AM Wednesday morning. High tide at Port O'Connor is at 639 AM Tuesday morning and 700 AM Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Poor driving conditions are expected as water reaches the dunes. Some beach access roads may become impassable.
