Sheriff Richard J. Behnke reports on 10/04/19 at approximately 1620 hours, his Deputies responded to a personal injury crash on Anderson Rd south of Yankee Street, Howard Township, Cass County, Michigan. The Initial investigation shows Brad Lintz, a 17 year old from Niles, was north bound on Anderson Rd when he lost control of his vehicle and hit a tree. Brad had two juvenile passengers in the vehicle and one was ejected during the crash. Lints and his two passengers were transported to Memorial Hospital in South Bend for injuries sustained in the crash. Seat belts were not worn and speed does appear to be a factor in the crash. This crash remains under investigation.
