5k Run/Walk to Affect Beaufort Traffic on Saturday, 10/5 
Due to the annual Beaufort Shrimp Festival Run Forrest Run 5k run/walk, the following route in Downtown Beaufort will be closed to vehicular traffic between 7:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on Saturday 10/5:
Bay Street from Charles Street to Carteret Street
Carteret Street/Sea Island Pkwy, including the Woods Memorial Bridge to Meridian Rd
Meridian Rd from Sea Island Parkway to Youmans Drive

The McTeer Bridge (Lady's Island Drive) should be used as a detour route to get to and from Lady's Island.
