INCIDENT: Possession of Stolen Property/ Warrant Arrest

LOCATION: 21845 Grand Terrace Rd. #1, Grand Terrace, Ca.

SUSPECT: Felix Velasquez III, 30 years old, resident of Grand Terrace.


SUMMARY:
On October 3, 2019, Deputies responded to a suspicious person call in the 11700 block of Holly St. The reporting party spoke to an unknown male in the alley way behind her residence, and during the conversation the subject did not have a valid reason for loitering in the alley and immediately got into a vehicle and left the area. The reporting party was able to get a description of the subject and license plate of the vehicle. Deputies located the vehicle a few blocks away and contacted a subject, later identified as Felix Velasquez III, matching the previous description. Velasquez was found to have two active warrants and was in possession of stolen property which was taken during a vehicle burglary in the city of Yucaipa.
Velasquez is convicted felon and on active Post Release Community Supervision. He was arrested for PC 496, Possession of Stolen Property and two outstanding warrants and booked into the Central Detention Center.
