Deputies arrested a Moreno Valley woman for Arson after she set fire to a vehicle in Rancho Cucamonga

LOCATION: 11300 Block of Verona Dr., Rancho Cucamonga
SUSPECT: Anitra Dennis, 44-years-old of Moreno Valley
SUMMARY:
Deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department responded to a call of a fire in the 11300 block of Verona Dr. When deputies arrived, they located a vehicle fully engulfed in flames. Deputies contacted the owner who was unaware his car was on fire.
Upon further investigation, deputies located surveillance video which led them to a suspect identified as Anitra Dennis. She was observed on video pouring a liquid on the vehicle, setting it on fire with a match and speeding off. **(The video is not being released). Deputies located Dennis and arrested her for arson. She was booked at the West Valley Detention Center where her bail is set at $50,000.
