...HIGH RISK FOR RIP CURRENTS AND MINOR COASTAL FLOODING THROUGH EARLY THURSDAY MORNING... .The combination of increased swell periods and swell heights along with moderate southeasterly winds will lead to a high risk for dangerous rip currents tonight through early Thursday morning for the Gulf facing beaches of the Middle Texas Coast. High astronomical tides will also continue to favor minor coastal flooding along the barrier islands from Baffin Bay to Port O'Connor and bay shores from Baffin Bay to Matagorda Bay. Tide levels are expected to reach or exceed 2 feet MSL at times of high tide tonight which may lead to up to 1 foot of inundation. Extension of these products is likely through the end of the week.

* COASTAL FLOODING...Minor coastal flooding in low areas along bay shores during the times of astronomical high tide.

* TIMING...Coastal flooding during high tide through early Thursday. Port O'Connor high tide is at 1144 PM tonight. Bob Hall Pier high tide is at 705 PM tonight and 833 PM Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Poor driving conditions are expected as water reaches the dunes. Some beach access roads may become impassable.

* AFFECTED AREAS: COASTAL KLEBERG ... COASTAL REFUGIO ... COASTAL NUECES ... COASTAL CALHOUN ... COASTAL SAN PATRICIO ... COASTAL ARANSAS
