October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

In support of Breast Cancer Awareness, members of the Berkeley Police Department will be showing our support by wearing Pink Patches and badges to bring attention to the fight against breast cancer.

In addition to the pink uniform patches, the Department is also selling commemorative/collectable pink patches to the public for the first time. These patches are different in appearance to our uniform patches (containing a ribbon instead of a star).

You can purchase the commemorative patches at the front counter of the Police Department with $10 cash (Mon-Fri / 8 am to 5 pm).  The proceeds from the sales will be donated to the Women’s Cancer Resource Center (2908 Ellsworth Street).

For more information about the Pink Patch Project, visit (https://pinkpatchproject.com/california/367-berkeley-police-department).

You may also purchase a commemorative patch with Venmo.  For more information about paying with Venmo, send an email to [email protected].
