Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole a vehicle with a child inside in a Deer Park parking lot last week.

A man entered a 2007 Acura that was parked at 7-Eleven, located at 7 Bay Shore Road, on September 27 at 7:20 a.m. An 8-year-old girl was sitting in the back seat when the vehicle was stolen. The suspect dropped off the child, who was not injured, at West Islip Hot Bagels, located at 544 Hunter Avenue in West Islip. Prior to stealing the Acura, the man was seen driving a red van that was stolen from the Bronx. Detectives believe the man was heading back to the Bronx in the Acura.
