IMPORTANT TRAFFIC ALERT 
**IMPORTANT TRAFFIC ALERT**
Effective immediately, Route 47, between Waverly Street and Bedford Road (in front of Jewel), is closed due to flooding. In addition, Liberty Street between Waverly and Bedford is closed.
Southbound Route 47 is completely closed and will be diverted west onto Bedford Road.
One lane of Northbound 47 is still open for high profile vehicles. However, all other traffic is being diverted west onto Waverly Street.
This is not a problem we anticipate going away over night. Work crews are addressing the issue, but please plan for this closure to still be in effect tomorrow.
