Traffic stop leads to arrest of Boonville man. 
On September 25, 2019, at 5:19 p.m. a Black 2002 Toyota Camry was stopped on US 41 near County Road 400 south for speeding. Deputy Garrett Tuley identified the driver as 32 year old Tyler Light of Boonville. During a roadside investigation Deputy Tuley ran Mr. Light through the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles and discovered that Mr. Light’s Operator’s License was suspended on a prior driving while suspended conviction. At that point Deputy Tuley placed Mr. Light into custody and transported him to the Gibson County Jail. Upon arriving at the Gibson County Jail Mr. Light was charged with driving while suspended/prior. He has since posted a $400 bond.
Assisting Deputy Tuley in his investigation was Deputy U.B. Smith.
