The Shorewood Police Department is encouraging residents to stay in their homes due to heavy rainfall and localized flooding.
The area has received in excess of 4 inches of rainfall this afternoon / evening. This has caused some localized flooding on some side roads. Public Works crews are out in force in an attempt to mitigate some of the flooding.
We are encouraging our residents to stay indoors and do not attempt to drive through any flooded roadways if at all possible.
