Sheriff Richard J Behnke reports that on 9/27/2019 at 3:00pm, his office was called to investigate a personal injury crash at the intersection on Dutch Settlement and O Keefe Rd, in La Grange Township, Cass County Michigan. 80 yr old Decatur resident, Richard Buss, was North Bound when he failed to yield to an oncoming vehicle driven by 19 yr old, Dowagiac resident, Elizabeth Kistner. Ms. Kistner was transported, by ambulance, to Borgess Lee Hospital in Dowagiac for treatment. Seat belts were worn and alcohol does not appear to be a factor. This case remains under investigation.
