The Carlstadt Recycling Committee is sponsoring a Community Shredding & Electronic Waste Disposal Event.  The event is open to all residents and is free.  Come and have your personal / sensitive / confidential documents safely shredded on site and the paper recycled. 
 
Do you have an old computer, tablet, cell phone, printer, television / monitor or radio laying around your house, taking up room that you want to get rid of?  Bring it for safe electronics recycling.  The borough will be collecting ELECTRONICS ONLY at this event.  Please contact the Department of Public Works, 201-939-2857, for proper disposal or recycling of other items.
 
This event will  be held on Saturday, September 28^th from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Borough Hall, 500 Madison Street in the fire house parking lot, entrance on Division Avenue.
