Narrative:   
Beginning in June 2019, Lockwood Valley Deputies began investigating a series of burglaries which occurred in northern Ventura County.  During the course of the investigation, Jessep Curry and Tracy McPherson were identified as suspects.  The investigation revealed Curry and McPherson burglarized several Ventura County properties, possessed stolen property from several additional burglaries in the area, and conspired to sell stolen property from the burglaries. 

The Ventura County District Attorney’s Office filed the following charges for Curry and McPherson: Curry for Penal Code (PC) 459 – Burglary, PC 487(a) – Grand theft, and PC 182(a)(1) – Conspiracy.  McPherson for PC 496(a) – Possession of stolen property and PC 182(a)(1) – Conspiracy.

On 08/06/19, McPherson was arrested in Bakersfield and booked into the Ventura County Jail where she was later released upon her own recognizance.  On 09/25/19, Curry was arrested in Anaheim and will be transferred to the Ventura County Jail where he will be held in lieu of $40,000 bail.
