On September 25, 2019, Rutherford County Sheriff Office Narcotics Unit, Rutherford County Sheriff Office Interdiction Team, Rutherford County Sheriff Office Special Emergency Response Team, Forest City Police Department and State Bureau of Investigation executed search warrant at 175 Lakeview Drive Forest City, N.C.
As a result of the search warrant approximately 79 grams methamphetamine, 28 grams marijuana, $2,590.00 in US Currency and multiple firearms were seized. Chandra Sue Nierman was charged with Trafficking Methamphetamine, Maintain Vehicle Place or Dwelling and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Nierman received $75,000.00 secured bond and was due to have first appearance in District Court on September 26th, 2019. This investigation is still ongoing.
