Please come join the Sausalito PD for Coffee with a Cop on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 from 9AM-10AM at Sausalito Bakery and Cafe (571 Bridgeway), as we take part in the nationwide Coffee with a Cop event. Come enjoy a cup of coffee with the officers who patrol the streets of Sausalito.

This event is designed to allow officers and citizens to get to know each other and to discover mutual goals for the community they live in and serve. We encourage community members to sit down with the officers and to ask questions, share what’s on their mind, and get to know the officers better.

Coffee with a Cop is a day dedicated to encourage communication and positive interactions between law enforcement agencies and the public. The day began as part of National Community Policing Week in 2016 and now continues each year on the first Wednesday in October furthering efforts nationwide to bridge the gap between the community and the law.
