SUMMARY:
On September 25, 2019, Eric Chavira was being detained at the Chino Hills Station for a burglary and possession of stolen property investigation. At approximately 4:37 p.m., Chavira escaped custody at the Chino Hills Police station and left on foot toward the Payne Ranch community, located in the 14000 block of Peyton Drive. An extensive search of the area for the suspect was conducted and Chavira was not located.
Chavira is a Hispanic male, 5'10, 200 lbs., with multiple tattoos and was last seen wearing only black shorts. He is not believed to be armed.
