Glenn County is conducting an emergency preparedness exercise today to test our emergency alert systems and Public Health is testing their capability of delivering mass vaccinations. 
This alert is a test of our Nixle alerting system. CodeRED alert system was also tested. To register for alerts or to register more devices, got to our website: www.countyofglenn.net/OES and select Nixle or CodeRED to register.
Public Health will be offering free flu shots today from 3 to 6 p.m. at Orland Memorial Hall, 815 4th St. This is regular seasonal flu vaccine. If you would like a free flu shot, please come out and support Public Health as they practice their mass vaccination capabilities for future emergency events.
