Tomorrow, residents are invited to join Mayor Joe Hogsett, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) command staff, as well as beat officers for a public safety walk in Riverside. Each month, public safety walks provide a venue to discuss opportunities and challenges with residents, faith groups, and community partners. This open dialogue helps strengthen bonds between neighborhoods and their beat officers, allowing IMPD to better serve the community.
This month, officers and community outreach staff will also be distributing flyers to let residents know about the upcoming Neighborhood Resource Fair to take place at Riverside Park. More information about the resource fair can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/events/2344700442232157/
