Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating a shooting that killed a North Amityville man last night.
 
First Precinct officers responded to Andpress Plaza, an apartment complex in North Amityville, after a 911 caller reported a man shot at 9:30 p.m. When officers arrived they found Jesiah Lowe outside in a common area of the apartment complex. Lowe had been shot once. Lowe, 33, was transported via North Amityville Rescue ambulance to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where he was pronounced dead.
 
Detectives are asking anyone with information on this incident to call the Homicide Squad at 631-852-6392 or anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
