* Portions of north central Illinois and northeast Illinois, including the following areas, in north central Illinois, La Salle, Lee, Ogle, and Winnebago. In northeast Illinois, Grundy.
* Until 7 PM CDT this evening
* Rain, heavy at times, will end by early this evening, tapering to scattered showers or even just ending completely in places. Before that time, the rain may be heavy enough on wet ground to result in localized flash flooding.
* The heavy rainfall will lead to additional river rises, potentially sharp rises, into the upcoming week, especially across the Des Plaines, Fox, Pecatonica, and Rock river basins.
* AFFECTED AREAS: OGLE ... WINNEBAGO ... LA SALLE ... GRUNDY ... LEE
