Single Vehicle Crash Wilbur Hill/Mathews St
Sheriff Richard J Behnke reports his office investigated a single vehicle injury crash on Friday, September 20th, 2019 at 1436 hrs.
The crash occurred on Wilbur Hill Rd near Mathews St, Pokagon Twp, Cass County, Michigan.
The driver, Carlton Hill, 42 yrs of Dowagiac, Mi suffered a medical emergency, which led him to crash his vehicle into a nearby apple orchard.
Hill was transported to Burgess-Lee for treatment.
Airbags did deploy and a seatbelt was used. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to have been factors in the crash.
Dowagiac City Police, Pokagon Tribal Police and PrideCare Ambulance assisted on scene.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
