On 9/19/2019 at 08:05 am Janesville Officers responded to the 400 block of Harding St for a report of a male and female involved in a disturbance, and a gun was seen. The area was secured by officers. Several attempts to illicit contact were done with no response at a residence. Entry was made and two occupants were found inside.
No gun was found. The occupants indicated there were no problems and no disturbance. They did say they have been the victims of harassment. Information gathered at this point indicates this was a swatting call. There is still information being investigated regarding this matter and no arrests have been made.
