Ontario shooting suspect arrested in Chino Hills after SWAT call.

SUSPECT(S): Carlos Estevan Salazar, age 27, resident of Chino Hills
VICTIM(S): Multiple
SUMMARY: On Monday, September 16, 2019, at 8:52 P.M., the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department and Chino Police Department located a stolen vehicle in the 2600 block of Stagecoach Trail in Chino Hills. The vehicle was reported stolen and was used during a shooting which occurred in Ontario. Through investigation, deputies and officers learned the suspect, Carlos Estevan Salazar, was inside a residence. Salazar refused to exit the residence and the Sheriff’s Specialized Enforcement Division responded. After several hours, a search warrant was served, and Salazar was found inside the residence. He was arrested without further incident. Evidence linking him to the shooting was obtained.
