At approximately 11 a.m., a man was talking on his cell phone in the 100 block of Garside Street when a male suspect approached, struck the man with his fist, and snatched a gold chain from the victim’s neck. The suspect fled heading south on Garside Street, then east on 4th Avenue. He is described as in his early twenties, 6-ft. tall and 175 lbs. with black hair. He was wearing a blue shirt and black shorts.
