Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that seriously injured a pedestrian in Shirley last night.
Daniel Quigley was walking westbound across William Floyd Parkway on the Route 27 overpass when he was struck a southbound 2009 Toyota Camry at approximately 10:50 p.m.
Quigley, 33, of Shirley, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the Camry, Andre Seura, 45, of Shirley was not injured.
The Camry was impounded for a safety check.
