Female suspect arrested after stabbing ex-husband.

DATE/ TIME: Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 7:40pm

INCIDENT: ATTEMPT MURDER

LOCATION: 12900 Block of Norfolk Lane, Spring Valley Lake

SUSPECT(S): Rudy Esperanza Ruvalcaba, 24 years-old, of Hesperia

VICTIM: Male Adult, 25 years-old, of Spring Valley Lake


SUMMARY:

On Saturday, September 14, 2019, deputies responded to Desert Valley Hospital regarding a 25-year-old male adult with multiple stab wounds.

The incident occurred during a child custody exchange at the victim’s home. The victim and his ex-wife’s boyfriend fought. During the fight, the ex-wife, Rudy Esperanza Ruvalcaba came up behind the victim and stabbed him repeatedly. The victim sustained wounds to his neck and upper back.

Deputies located and arrested Ruvalcaba at the victim’s residence where she had been detained by the victim’s family members. The knife was found inside her vehicle.

Rudy Esperanza Ruvalcaba was booked at High Desert Detention Center where she is being held in lieu of $1,000,000.00 bail.
