Deputies arrest mother for child endangerment after she overdosed while caring for her child.

LOCATION: 900 block of Coronado Street, Needles
SUSPECT(S): Danielle Pope, 25-year-old resident of Yucca Valley
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Sunday, September 8, 2019, deputies from the Colorado River Sheriff's Station / Needles Police were dispatched to the 900 block of Coronado Street in Needles for a report of a possible drug overdose. Deputies contacted Danielle Pope at the scene. Investigation revealed Pope was under the influence of a controlled substance while she was caring for her child.
Pope was transported to the Colorado River Medical Center for treatment. When she was released from the hospital she was arrested for child endangerment and booked into the Needles jail. She is being held on $25,000 bail.
