Two CCPD officers injured while subduing prowler late Friday night.suspect arrested. 
California City - At 11:00 PM last night officers responded to a reported prowler call outside of a business near Cal City Blvd and Mitchell. Officers located a male walking in the street and acting strange.
the male subject was wanted on several other cases and officers attempted to arrest him. The suspect, who was later determined to be under the influence of drugs, actively fought with the two on-duty officers.
The suspect was subdued after several minutes. The suspect along with the officers, sustained injuries during the altercation.
The suspect was was transported to a local hospital for non life threatening injuries. Both officers were treated by Cal City fire paramedics and returned back to duty.
