The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning in effect for the Northstar area Sunday through Monday. EXTREME FIRE DANGER due to high winds and low humidity.
The National Weather Service issues Red Flag Warnings during times of critical fire weather like windy, hot and dry conditions, that could lead to rapid or dramatic increases in wildfire activity beyond the ability of fire agency’s to control.
During these times EXTREME caution is urged by all residents, A simple spark can cause a major wildfire.
Instructions:
No open burning, no campfires, no chainsaws, no weed eating or any other things that could start a fire.
Campfire ban still in effect.
