Early morning shooting victim identified, BCSO investigation continues. 
Beaufort County Sheriff's Office Investigators are actively working a homicide that occurred at 18 Coinbow Loop, Burton, and South Carolina. The incident was reported today around 5:00 am to the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office. Responding deputies found the victim deceased inside his residence.
Beaufort County Coroner Ed Allen identified the victim as 50-year old Reginald D. Chaplin. Anyone with information is asked to report the information to Crimestoppers: 1-888-274-6372 or Lance Corporal Dario Sosa: 843-255-3435. A Cash Reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
